About Us

1. Govt. Polytechnic, Hisar was established in 1992 with the aim to enhance employability of the youth by equipping them with latest technical skills for suitable employment through technical education.
2. Govt. Polytechnic, Hisar got best Polytechnic award in Northern India in the year -2019 by NITTTR, Chandigarh.
3. Electronics and Communication Engg. Branch is NBA Accredited Dec., 2019.

4. The Institute is spread over an area of about 40 acres. The campus is laid out with teaching blocks, 02 Boys Hostels, 01 Girls Hostel, Canteen, Gym, Play Ground, Guest House and Residential Quarters for the Staff Members.
5. The Institute has spacious and well ventilated class rooms, labs equipped with latest and modern machinery to impart practical knowledge to the students.
6. The Institute has 325 Computer systems with latest configurations.
7. The Institute library has a total collection of about 40000 books and it subscribes 18 magazines, E-Journals-15, National Journals-18, International Journals-02 and 12 News Papers approx. 700 Reference books and to keep the students and teachers up to date in every field of knowledge.
8. The Institute is offering 13 Diploma courses with approximately 2500 students on roll under the guidance of matured, dedicated, experienced and highly qualified staff.
